As a fellow dark black woman who went through American medical school, I feel seen. An extension of her earlier work that capture the sentiment of being an exceptional human being while also being exceptionally ordinary and normal. We all need and want ove from lovers and friends. I saw myself in her story. It echoed my experience. I finished it in one sitting because I couldn't put it down.
