I enjoyed reading this book because it taught me a lot about some unsung heroes in World War II that I’ve never known before. A lot of these Veterans didn’t get their due while they were living. I know without the sacrifices that they made I never would have had the Military Career I had retiring as a Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy. I thank them for paving the way for me and highly recommend reading this book.
