RUN, do not walk, to grab your copy of this incredible book! I picked it up and could not set it down. The story is based on real life events but the message is as important today as it was when it occurred. I found myself having to stop and absorb the message multiple times- wow! And the bond of love between sisters is depicted so perfectly I felt that to my core. I am will say this is the best, most moving and impactful historical fiction book I have read in years, maybe ever!
